1.Platform Nature
NxtOwner is a technology marketplace that connects buyers, sellers, and brokers of Canadian businesses. NxtOwner is not a licensed real estate agent, business broker, financial advisor, or legal counsel. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional advice.
2.User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for independently verifying all information on listings. Financial data is provided by sellers and brokers and is not verified by NxtOwner. Users must conduct their own due diligence before making any acquisition decision.
3.NDA Terms
When you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement on NxtOwner, you agree not to disclose confidential information about any listing to third parties. NDAs are legally binding. Breach may result in legal action by the listing seller.
4.Listings
Sellers and brokers are responsible for the accuracy of listing information. NxtOwner reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms or contain inaccurate information.
5.Subscriptions and Payments
All subscription fees are charged via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Listing fees are one-time payments and are non-refundable once a listing is published. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase.
6.Limitation of Liability
NxtOwner is not liable for any losses arising from business acquisitions facilitated through the platform. The platform is provided as-is. NxtOwner makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of listing information.
7.Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
